We are family owned and operated and are located on Dahlonega Highway (in the old C&W Auto Sales facility) just north of downtown Cumming, Georgia.

We perform all kinds of major and minor auto repairs as well as regularly scheduled maintenance to keep your vehicles working efficiently and in top shape. We also tackle and solve the problems other places can't or won't touch.

We price our work fairly and are usually the best deal in town when it comes to getting the job done at a cost you can afford.

BigD was formally established in 2009. We had a tool box, a dream and a desire to bring fair, honest, quality auto repair services to our neighbors.

Donald "Big D" Teems - Co-Owner
"Big D". A Forsyth County native. Master mechanic and all around mechanical genius with 35 of years of auto repair experience. Crewed on an xfinity series car for several seasons. "If it has an engine, he'll make it work!"

Mike "MadMike" Maciolek - Co-owner
A software engineer by trade, Mike created nastyz28.com the largest website dedicated to the 2nd generation Camaro and one of the most comprehensive automotive websites available on the internet. He is an expert at decoding Chevrolet numbers and has worked as a technical consultant for a major muscle car restoration company. In addition to that, he's worked for Joel Rosen (aka "Mr. Motion", of Motion Performance supercar fame) for over 20 years. He established North Georgia Classic Camaro in 1996. Mike has raced and restored cars since the late 80s.

Shannon Banks
Shannon went to school for small engine repair back in 1991. He's worked with heavy equipment, fiberglass, welding & paint and body and car audio.

Stephen Teems
At just 25 years old, Stephen is diligent and dedicated. He's a foreign car specialist and a computer nerd. He's been working on cars with his father since the age of four. He loves working on new and old vehicles - something with a challenge, building them from the ground up is one of his favorite things to do. To take a car from scratch and make it come to life. He's not a bad driver either. He's working on building a drift car. Stephen plans on taking his career in the automotive industry to the limit. And he'll get there too.

Larry Thompson
Larrys been wrenching since 1997. He's been with Big D since the beginning. He specializes in preventative maintenance, restoration work and has some machining experience. When he's not at the shop he likes to play his guitar and do woodworking.
